Create your Supplier dataset more easily using Your Supplier dataset creation tools

Your Supplier dataset creation tools were born out of the Supplier Improvement Project to support all universities, whether new or experienced. The tools will ensure your Supplier collection process is more repeatable year-on-year by helping you to document your process and scoping decisions so that they can be easily picked up and used again for each year’s collection.

Across the unique approaches we’ve observed at each university are a core set of scoping, aggregation, Primary Contact / Respondent assignment and coding stages. These form the foundations for three new tools:

1. Your dataset creation handbook: this document provides detailed dataset creation guidance and a framework for universities to document their own repeatable process.

2. Your dataset creation spreadsheet: this Excel-based tool guides you through a series of flexible workflows to efficiently turn a raw data extract into a dataset ready for UFAST upload.
